Body Building Revealed - Eat to Build Muscle!

Body Building Revealed, by respected health, fitness, and medical consultant Will Brink (author of the superb Fat Loss Revealed, reviewed here), is a without doubt, one more fantastic piece of work from the fitness and supplement guru. With that said however, let me also say this... Body Building Revealed is not for everyone. As implied by the title, this publication is focused towards those who are looking to build muscle, although several complimentary subsections of the book make it very worthwhile for others as well...

Anybody who spends (or intends to spend) money on strength and performance enhancing supplements -- creatine, methoxy, whey protein, tribulis, prohormones, and so on. Will reviews many of the "hottest" products on the market today, and let me tell you... very few get the coveted "thumbs up" approval rating. What you'll learn from Will's reviews are worth the cost of the book alone -- guaranteed!

Anybody who is looking to ratchet up their training program -- Body Building Revealed contains a great subchapter from world renown strength trainer, Charles Poliquin. If you haven't heard of Charles, he is a well-known trainer of Olympic athletes, NHL hockey players, NFL football players, and strength trainers everywhere. His series of 21 Training Principles are definitely going to be implemented into my weight training regime!

Sidebar: For those of you who are not into "muscle building", and are looking more specifically for a weight loss solution, check out this ebook, The Ultimate Fat Burning Diet Primer!.

Body Building Revealed in depth...

Body Building Revealed Prt I: The first part of the book, obviously enough, focuses on Body Building Revealed. Will introduces the reader to the macronutrients (fats, proteins, carbohydrates), with an intensive discussion of each. I found the discussion on protein especially enlightening, and enjoyed Will's revision of the oft-maligned food pyramid. After this it gets a little more complicated, with intensive instruction on determining your "most ideal" caloric intake, and from that, gram requirements for each macronutrient. Although it may get a little heavy here for those of you who have not yet done much research on nutrition and/or dieting, the style remains light and breezy, and Will doesn't hesitate to throw some humour into the mix. As usual, Body Building Revealed is heavily (yet unobtrusively) referenced from the appropriate journals.

Body Building Revealed Prt II: Here Will reviews a many of the overly-hyped products on the market today, again with the focus on those that build muscle. Methoxy? Will reviews the data and proclaims... "a dud." Prohormones? With the exception of 1AD and 1-Test, they're a dud too. ZMA? In the correct situations, ZMA gets a "thumbs up", believe it or not. Yes, without a doubt, Will's reviews of the top supplements will leave many of you shaking your head in disbelief. This section is worth the price of the book alone -- a "no brainer" if you regularly spend money on supplements that build muscle.

Body Building Revealed Prt III: A great series of training principles from Charles Poliquin (there's several different base training programs as well). Basically these are... um... the "principles" you should be following for the most efficient training. I've been lifting weights with fairly serious dedication for 15 years, and there were several real eye-openers for me. I'll be printing this section off, and reviewing again with a yellow highlighter marker. This section too will be of real value to anyone who weight trains and is not happy with his/her current progress.

Body Building Revealed also contains a members section, and a few other goodies that round this very comprehensive package.

The Package: Surprisingly, Body Building Revealed is not formulated in the traditional ebook format (PDF) but a rather slick package that requires an additional download (free) of the ebook software.  The book looks great, and is easy to read and navigate, thanks to its left-margin point and click navigation (very much like a web page actually).

Body Building Revealed: The bottom Line...

If you are into any sort of strength/weight training, are looking to build some serious muscle, and/or you routinely spend money on supplements that build muscle, you can't go wrong with Will's book. It's a great product and a great value. For those of you who are simply looking to lose a few pounds, and are not avid weight trainers, you'd better off checking out this ebook, The Ultimate Fat Burning Diet Primer, it likely will suit your needs more, and is significantly cheaper.

The editors of Strength-N-Speed and Chris Berry (that would be me) have reviewed the Books, "Fat Loss Revealed" and "Body Building Revealed" by Will Brink. I have gone over them extensively.  We found them to be a real eye - opener. Find out which supplements burn fat fast, which are hype, discover the best way to lose fat fast and get a personalized diet. It's all in there. We highly recommend it! One of the most useful guides to losing fat out there.  Find out everything you need to know about fat loss in a few minutes.

This book and all that comes with it has to be the best deal on the net.  I do not believe you will have to ever buy a book or advice again.  You must see this to believe it.

Here's why most people don't gain the muscle they want to...

Most people in gyms don't necessarily suffer from a lack of motivation. In fact, in most gyms you will see people every single day "busting their butt" to make gains; yet despite all their efforts, they have little or no results to show for it. Sad but true.

Why you ask? Let me explain...

They lack the knowledge to accurately plan a muscle building diet program, and take a hit or miss approach to nutritional supplementation for gaining lean mass.

They bounce around from one muscle diet plan to another and throw money away on over-hyped supplements that make supplement companies rich and just leave the person frustrated.

It's easy to lift weights and hope you are following a weight gain plan which optimizes the hard work in the gym, it's another thing altogether to know how to calculate a meal plan based on caloric needs, nutrient composition and optimum supplementation. This knowledge is what gives people the edge they seek.

BUT until you eat the right foods, in the right amounts, in the right ratios, the right number of times a day AND use the right supplements, your results in the gym will be sub-optimal at best, non existent at worst.

So here's the next big problem...

Now some people do "get it" -- they understand proper nutrition is absolutely essential for making serious gains in the gym. They identify this as their "sticking point" and set about attaining the information they need.

Yet here's the next problem... where do they go in order to acquire this Body Building Revealedal knowledge they know is vital to their success?

Here's what most people do. They start reading the mainstream mags, or info on the 'net, or maybe listen to the "expert" at the gym.

And guess what, the information they receive is a mixture of old wives tales, myths, advice with hidden agendas to sell you supplements and outright "fantasy based fabrications" about nutrition and supplements.

Unfortunately the BS advice never ends... Advice from "experts" who are not experts at all but slick business men, advice from genetically gifted bodybuilders using enough drugs to kill a platoon of marines, advice from ads made to look like articles, athletes paid to endorse a product… you see where this is going?

Sadly most people end up even more confused then they were to begin with! Sound familiar?

The fact is, there is so much worthless information and conflicting advice out there that it's very difficult to know who or what to believe.

No place does the term "knowledge is power" ring so true as it does for bodybuilding nutrition, yet it is so difficult to acquire real knowledge…

The fact is the number of people qualified, experienced and unbiased enough to give useful advice on diet and supplements, for gaining lean mass, can be counted on one hand… and a hand missing a few fingers at that!

So what's the answer? Where do you get the information you need, in an easy to understand format, that WILL help you achieve consistent increases in lean muscle mass (based on sound scientific grounds) and NOT merely attempt to sell you yet more worthless supplements?
